Have a wonderful active nature experience in a canoe or kayak on the Gudenå River. Let yourself be carried away by the current and enjoy the changing surroundings. Forest and scrub, fields and open spaces or sloping banks with reeds and lots of birdlife. Vestbirk Camping offers day trips on the Gudenå River in canoe and kayak from 16/6-31/12.

The trips are based on sailing either to or from the campsite, and the price thus includes either delivering the vessel to the tent site in Aale or Aastedbro, or picking up the vessel at the collection point at Klostermølle.

Canoes/kayak can also be dropped off at the tent site in Voervadsbro for a parking fee of DKK 50/vessel, which is paid directly at the tent site.

Booking a canoe trip on the Gudenå River.

When booking, we register the trip on the Gudenå Committee's website and send confirmation with payment collection.

If the registration is not accepted (there is no room for more sailings at that time), we will of course inform you. As the number of sailings is limited, it is advisable to book as early as possible.

As a general rule, you must be responsible for your own transport to the departure point/from the destination, but there is - during the school summer holidays and weekends in August - the possibility of return transport from Klostermølle/Voervadsbro.

During the school summer holidays and weekends in August, the counter-current bus (free) runs daily from Klostermølle at 16 pm (Voervadsbro at 16.10:XNUMX pm) with the option of transport back to the campsite.

Alternatively, it is possible to rent a bicycle for DKK 150,00, which after ordering will be ready at the end station or alternatively can be picked up at the departure point.
